L. F. Antrider

Quick Bio: L.F. Antrider

 

Slightly less elusive than Banksy and thus largely unknown, Mr. Antrider is a man who likes to keep to himself and out from under the eye of society.  Nevertheless, he expresses himself through his art and through his words; in this way connecting to the outside world.  Still, it is hard to say who he really is or if he really IS at all.

 

When asked about the conceptions, the meaning behind his artistic works, Mr. Antider said, "Meaning is in the eye of the viewer.  It is not for me to decide.  In my eyes, what I create doesn't mean a thing to me."

 

I later asked him about his life philosophy, what his aims are and his beliefs, to which he said "Isms do not sit well in my stomach.  I like to devour them ravenously, enjoying the taste while I can, but like a good bolemic, toss them back up quickly and move on to other meals... or periods of hunger.  If I had to say I was anything, I'd say I was a sculptor."

 

I said, "As of now you do not sculpt.  How is it that you consider yourself a sculptor?"  He replied, "Think larger, my friend!  There are more things to sculpt than stones and clay."

 

I have no clue what he meant by that and don't think he did either.
